1. Overview
Discord Custom Bot processes only the data needed to operate enabled bot features, maintain server configuration, support moderation workflows, run tickets, and provide optional AI and utility features.
The bot is installed and configured by server administrators. Different servers may enable different features, which means the exact data processed can vary by server.
2. Data the Bot May Collect
Depending on server configuration and feature usage, the bot may process:
- Discord user IDs, server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, message IDs, and ticket IDs.
- Usernames, display names, avatars, server names, channel names, and role names where needed for logs, controls, or transcripts.
- Command names, command options, command usage counts, timestamps, moderation reasons, notes, case records, warnings, restrictions, bans, mutes, and audit-style logs.
- Server configuration such as enabled features, prefixes, permission roles, log channels, ticket panels, reaction role panels, welcome settings, leveling settings, invite rewards, and embed styles.
- Ticket messages, ticket transcripts, staff responses, and related metadata when ticket features are used.
- Message content or attachment references when needed for enabled features such as AI replies, AI image moderation, sticky messages, logs, moderation commands, or transcripts.
- Game, reminder, giveaway, counting, economy, progression, achievement, invite, and utility state where those features are enabled.
The bot does not intentionally collect Discord passwords, payment card data, government ID documents, or private information unrelated to enabled bot features.
3. How Data Is Used
Data is used to provide and maintain bot features, including:
- Executing commands, buttons, menus, server controls, and automated server workflows.
- Managing moderation, restrictions, role restoration, verification, logging, tickets, transcripts, reminders, giveaways, welcome messages, and server utilities.
- Saving per-server settings so each Discord server can have its own configuration.
- Improving reliability, diagnosing issues, preventing abuse, enforcing bot access restrictions, and maintaining security.
4. AI and External Services
When AI features are enabled, prompts, messages, media references, or moderation context may be sent to configured AI providers so the bot can generate replies, embeds, images, moderation suggestions, or image moderation results.
Do not submit sensitive personal information to AI features. AI outputs may be inaccurate or unexpected, and server staff should review important outputs before using them for moderation or operational decisions.
The bot also relies on Discord's APIs and may use configured third-party APIs for specific features such as update watchers or link bypass utilities.
6. Retention and Deletion
Data may be retained while the bot remains in a server, while a feature needs the data, or while records are needed for moderation, security, audit, or operational purposes.
Server administrators may remove the bot, change configuration, delete channels or messages, clear certain bot data through available commands or server controls, or request deletion from the bot owner where supported.
Backups, logs, and transcripts may persist for a limited time after deletion from the live database, depending on how the bot is hosted and maintained.
7. Your Choices
- If you are a server member, contact server administrators about bot configuration, logs, tickets, or moderation records in that server.
- If you are a server administrator, review enabled features and permissions, disable features you do not need, and remove the bot if you no longer want it to process server data.
- If you want access, correction, or deletion of data associated with you, contact the bot owner or the relevant server administrators with your Discord user ID and the server where the bot was used.
8. Security
The bot uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect operational data, including authenticated controls and local database storage. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Server administrators should protect bot tokens, API keys, database files, backups, and hosting access.
9. Children and Discord Age Rules
The bot is intended for use on Discord and follows the age and access requirements that apply to Discord accounts and servers. Users who cannot use Discord under Discord's rules should not use the bot.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as bot features, hosting, data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of the page shows when the policy was last changed.
11. Contact
For privacy questions or data requests, contact the bot owner or the administrators of the Discord server where the bot is installed. If you operate this bot publicly, replace this contact section with your official support server, email address, or website contact method.
